Who Can Submit

Faculty Research and Creative Activity only publishes works authored by present and former Faculty of Governors State University. Retired faculty and Professor Emeritus are especially invited to archive their work in this series for permanent preservation and access by future scholars.

Articles, monographs, presentations, working papers, and multimedia are among the materials and formats that may be archived. For additional information, please contact OPUS@govst.edu.

How to Submit

Authors can submit directly by creating an OPUS account and authenticating it through email links, and then clicking on "Submit Research". OR, authors can submit a bibliography of their citations to OPUS staff at OPUS@govst.edu, and OPUS will work with you to post your research. Document files can be submitted in paper format, or as file attachments through email to OPUS@govst.edu.

Removal

A paper may be updated or removed from public view under certain circumstances by sending a request to the system administrator at OPUS@govst.edu. However, a citation to the original version of the paper will always remain on the site.

Author Review

OPTION 1 (author review):

Authors are asked to review PDFs created from their papers within 5 days of being sent the PDF. At this stage, we're unable to make any changes beyond the rare error that occurs in PDF conversion.

OPTION 2 (no author review):

Authors do not have an opportunity to approve papers they have submitted prior to them becoming publicly available on the site; therefore, please be sure that the paper is ready for public distribution.
