Abstract
Hongxia (Mary) Ma, director of the Illinois International Trade Center at Governors State University, recently participated in the “Doing Business in Asia” forum at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The forum focused on the Obama Administration’s commitment to rebalancing toward the Asia-Pacific region and deepening engagement across the Asia-Pacific region through trade and investment. It was hosted May 20 by the White House Office of Public Engagement, White House Business Council, and White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
