Abstract

Course syllabus for CDIS 836 Aphasia Seminar

Course description: This course is designed as an in depth study of the etiology, language and behavioral characteristics, evaluation, treatment and recovery of aphasia. While the disorder of aphasia will be emphasized, other commonly seen language neuro-pathologies will also be introduced. An overview of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology as it relates to language is included.
