Abstract

Course syllabus for COMS 820 Graduate Seminar in Communication Research

Course description: This course is designed to advance knowledge skills in scientific communication research, students will obtain comprehensive, functional knowledge in major research methods for studying human communication phenomena, including field research, content analysis, experiment, and evaluation research. In addition, this course focuses on methods of scientific thinking, writing, and oral presentation of ideas.
