Abstract
Course syllabus for ICS 440 Chinese Language and Culture Level I
Course description: Introduces the Pinyin system of Chinese language, basic and simple Chinese characters, simple daily situational conversations, integrates language and learning with culture, and includes the topics of Chinese geography, history, population, nationalities, people's lifestyle, traditions, marriage customs, family relation and social welfare.
