Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 340 Immunology
Course description: This course is an introduction to the basic concepts and terminology of immunity. Students will be introduced to the basic aspects of the immune response, antigenicity, antibody structure, antigen-antibody reactions, mechanisms of cellular immunity, and hypersensitivity reactions. Man's immunologic response to a variety of clinical diseases and the clinical laboratory applications will be discussed. Lecture, Laboratory, Discussion.
