Abstract

Course syllabus for MEDT 430 Clinical Laboratory Science: Hematology/Coagulation Practicum IV

Course description: This course is the fourth in the series of clinical microscopy. The emphasis will be on the performance and theoretical application of hemostasis testing, including quality control and trouble-shooting. The principles of hemostasis will be studied to enable the student to correlate results of procedures with diagnosis. Routine and Special Procedures in both hematology and urinalysis will be reviewed.
