Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 340A & B Operations Management
Course description: This course introduces the student to the field of Operations Management: its systems, processes, procedures, and tools. Accordingly, an introduction to the competitive environment in which an enterprise operates will be included. Subsequently, the major concepts of System Design, Quality, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Waiting Lines and Simulation will be discussed. The extent of coverage will be limited by the time available during this Session. The attached content coverage plan is considered the minimum within the anticipated available time. Other content materials will be included, if more time becomes available.
