Abstract
Course syllabus for NURS 430 Care in Episodic Settings
Course description: Emphasis is on the development of the nurse's role and function in episodic settings where patients of all ages are experiencing life-threatening illnesses. Theories of stress, psychosocial support systems, communication and role development constitute the foundation for clinical practice.
