Abstract
While recent studies show that students lose valuable education hours when a classroom teacher is absent, it is also true that qualified substitute teachers can make all the difference. Substitute teachers are more successful when they walk into the classroom with the tools and skills they need to teach and control the class and the support of the school’s faculty and administration.
