Abstract
On February 16, more than 600 graduates of Governors State University will cross the stage at the Tinley Park Convention Center, flip their tassels, and begin their futures with new degrees. One of those students will be Tiffany McClarence of Frankfort, who will stop on the stage to speak to her fellow graduates.
McClarence is the student commencement speaker for the winter graduation ceremony. She is earning her Master of Arts in English.
