Description of Program

Over the past few decades, research has become more complex. Our technology and communications have advanced, granting new and innovative ways of conducting studies. They have allowed the inquiry of research questions that were previously not feasible, and novel ways of sampling, performing data analysis, and disseminating research. This session will discuss considerations when conducting complex studies. IRB members will share their expertise in topics pertaining to conflict management within research teams, reliance agreements for studies that involve multiple institutions, and considerations with internet-based research.
