Abstract

This is an advanced life study drawing course. Students will be expected to draw from a human model and will be expected to draw the human form both representatively and abstractively. Special emphasis will be placed on the expressive potential of drawing.

In-class drawing assignments including varying length poses and exploration of various drawing mediums and techniques will be required. There will be drawing assignments in addition to those done in the classroom. Class attendance is mandatory.

Course may be repeated with the Instructor's approval.
