Course syllabus for COUN 810 Beginning Counseling and Human Relations Skills
Course description: This course is designed to assist students to obtain fundamental counseling skills, and an overview of the counseling process and skills required as a helping professional. The students will receive opportunities to learn, practice, and develop counseling skills through classroom activities and external assignments. These exercises are structured to encourage personal awareness and growth through practicing these activities, continual introspection and self-assessment, and understand counseling theory and techniques.
