Course syllabus for COUN 730 Life Style and Career Development

Course description: This course is designed to provide an overview of career development theory and an introduction to career counseling. The course will examine the life long process of career development and the viewpoint of the career counselor as helper in the career process. Other areas of emphasis will be career assessments, career and leisure counseling processes, occupational and educational information, and the empirical and theoretical career research Iiterature.
