Abstract
Course syllabus for EDUC 620 Advanced Developmental Reading Instruction
Course description: Examines the nature of the reading process and developmental influences on growth. Examines instructional decision-making processes in reading curriculum development, student placement, and classroom practice. Explores the match between student reading needs and instruction and extends teachers' knowledge of good practice. Examines the place of reading instruction in overall literacy development.
