Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 432 Quality Management
Course description: Provides an introduction to the economic and management aspects of quality control of products and processes. Statistical concepts and tools related to the design and implementation of acceptance sampling plans and control charts for statistical process control will be discussed. Topics covered include control charts for variables (x- and r-charts), control charts for attributes (p- and c-charts), operating characteristic (OC) curves, producer and consumer risks, lot tolerance percent defective, acceptance quality level, quality circles, quality assurance, etc.
