Abstract
Course syllabus for MIS 850 Artificial Intelligence
Course description: This course provides an overview of the broad field of artificial intelligence (Al) as it applies to managerial functions. Management applications of Al are considered in terms of their function and structure, and representative systems are examined. Includes exposure to management information systems, group support systems, and executive information systems, hands-on development of a managerial decision support system and expert system. Specific considerations of how to recognize and apply appropriate Al technology to a management problem.
