Course syllabus for POJS 837 Topics in Political and Justice Studies

Course description: Examines major theoretical approaches used in the sociology of sexuality and gender. Analyzes the ways in which social institutions regulate the social construction of sexuality, with attention to gender, race, and class differences in sexuality experiences. Examines the regulation of sexual and gender expressions through institutions and social norms.
