Abstract
At its March meeting, the Governors State University Board of Trustees elected the officers for the coming year. Lorine Samuels, of New Lenox, was selected as the new Chairperson of the Board. She will succeed Bruce Friefeld, who served as chair from 2000 to March 2007. Jack Beaupre, of Bourbonnais, will act as Vice-Chair, and Kristi DeLaurentiis, of Frankfort, will serve as secretary.
