Course syllabus for ADDS 525QD CADC Review: Special Populations Historical Perspectives

Course description: This 2-day class reviews the history of certification, types of certification, and certification process. History of alcoholism/drug treatment reviewed, as well as the history of Alcoholics Anonymous. Special populations including: adult men and women, adolescents, mentally ill substance abusers, court-ordered clients, domestic violence, and others will be discussed. Movies, role play, lectures, discussions are included in this class.
