Course syllabus for CDIS 80 Nonspeech Communication: Comprehensive Program Planning

Course description: Designed for speech-language pathologists and special educators, this course addresses the expanding field of communication systems for nonspeaking individuals. The areas of assessment, selection techniques, determination of symbol sets, design of communication aides, and the use of devices in the classroom and living environments will be stressed.
