Abstract
Course syllabus for CDIS 310 Introduction to Communication Disorders
Course description: This course has been designed to provide a survey of the field of communication disorders. It includes an overview of the etiologies (causes) and characteristics of common communication disorders, as well as an introduction to the therapeutic procedures used to remediate these disorders. The field of speech pathology as a profession will also be discussed.
