Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 465 Introduction to Laboratory Management
Course description: This course introduces the undergraduate technologist to the roles of the clinical laboratory supervisor and the laboratory administrator. The course will cover administrative aspects of fiscal management, the law, governmental regulation, planning, organization, space utilization, and communication as they apply to the clinical laboratory. It will also look at possible new roles for medical technology professionals in the changing health care delivery systems of the 1980's.
