Course syllabus for SOCW 325 Social Welfare Policy I

Course description: This course provides beginning understanding of the scope of social welfare programs in the United States. Building on a liberal arts perspective, it draws from economics, philosophy, history, and political science to provide an understanding of the present-day United States' social welfare services' evolution through historical events in Europe and America that influenced policy formulation and delivery systems.
