Abstract
Evidence of excellence is in abundance at Governors State. GSU has top quality faculty teaching first-rate, dedicated and serious students. Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible quality education to those who seek it. Using traditional student/faculty classroom interactions, practical field experiences, and breakthrough technological learning methods, we encourage all students to reach unparalleled levels of excellence. GSU graduates achieve their goals at the university and go on to heights of accomplishment of which they once dared only to dream. Please read this brochure and picture our average student - a 34 year old mother, holding down a job and going to school, the first in her family to go to college--yet achieving extraordinary academic success.
