Abstract

“The nation is facing a public crisis in the mental health care of infants, children, and adolescents,” says Dr. Jean Johnson, coordinator of graduate and undergraduate psychology programs at Governors State University. “There is a growing demand for clinical professionals to help mentally and emotionally disturbed clients adjust to life.”

To help meet this demand, to prepare clinical professionals to work in schools, hospitals, social service agencies, and treatment centers, and to prepare students for doctoral studies, GSU is now accepting applications for its newly established Master of Arts in Psychology - Clinical Psychology sequence.
