Abstract
The Rev. Dr. Albert “Al” Sampson, one of the first graduates of Governors State University and among the last ministers ordained by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will mark the university’s the 50-year anniversary with an on-stage interview on Tuesday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Sherman Hall.
The Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III, Senior Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, will provide opening remarks, and GSU English Professor Rashidah Muhammad will lead the discussion.
