Course description: ACCT 820 focuses on research in Federal income taxation. It examines primary sources of income tax law (e.g., the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations and Supreme Court holdings) and various tax research methodologies. It includes several practical written assignments that require application of specific primary sources of income tax law and that must be completed using state-of-the-art, on-line, tax research databases to locate and analyze such primary sources.
