Course syllabus for MCOM 565 Broadcasting in America
Course description: Examines the history, development, structure, content and influence of the American broadcast media within society at large. In addition to programming and technology, the course affords the student close scrutiny of the economic and social consequences of broadcasting, the role of government regulation and the future of the electronic media.
