Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 443 Production and Inventory Control Systems
Course description: Considers the concepts and methods for planning, scheduling and controlling manufacturing operations. Includes machine loading, applications for short run production, and continuous production. Studies tooling, equipment and productions of manufactured and processed products. Presents applications of the management science method, including forecasting demand, scheduling production, controlling inventories, linear programming, waiting line, simulation, and statistical techniques for controlling production.
