For over a year, students have had access to generative AI tools, and are using them. Studies indicate that these tools can successfully complete even GRE or LSAT exams. Hence an instructor needs to know to what extent the assessments are compromised by the availability of these tools, and also needs to devise means to be able to continue to have honest evaluations. This research explores these topics from the perspective of teaching a quantitative subject.
