Abstract
The CenterPoint for Entrepreneurs at Governors State University is hosting a Veterans Entrepreneurial Boot Camp on Thursday, May 8. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. The Veterans Entrepreneurial Boot Camp is offered at no cost to veterans or the families/business partners of those serving in the military. The event is co-sponsored by Phoenix Business Solutions, The Horton Group, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
Designed by military veterans, the full-day event is the first of its kind to be held in the South Suburbs and offers support to the families and business partners of our servicemen and women currently on active duty.
Patrick Rea, U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Director and U.S. Army Reserve General, will be the keynote speaker.
