Abstract
Governors State University announced the selection of Alison Mensing as student speaker for the university’s Sunday, June 6, commencement ceremony today. Mensing, who currently teaches kindergarten in School District 170 in Chicago Heights, is receiving her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the university’s College of Education.
She graduates with High Honors.
