Abstract

The Department of Social Work at Governors State University hosted an induction ceremony for the newest members of Omicron Beta, the GSU chapter of the Phi Alpha Honor Society, the social work honor society, on Friday, March 19.

To be considered for the Phi Alpha Honor Society at the bachelor’s level (BSW), students must be enrolled in the social work program, have completed eight semester hours of required social work courses, and achieve a 3.25 grade point average in social work courses. Master’s level (MSW) students must be enrolled in the social work program and achieve a 3.5 grade point average.
