Abstract

The Gender Matters conference will present an evening with Dr. Joycelyn Elders, featuring her keynote address, “Evolving Gender Roles in the 21rst Century.” This event takes place in Sherman Music Hall Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 7-9 p.m.

The fourth Annual Gender Matters conference is honored to host Dr. Elders for a lively discussion on the status of women's health, gender issues in health, education, economics and politics as well as gender equality, and questions if we are making progress in closing the gap.
