ORCID, the Open Researcher and Contributor ID is a registry of unique identifiers for each scholar, researcher in any field of study in any format. It is a requirement for NIH grants, Nature and Elsevier. This presentation will walk you through getting an ID and the steps to safeguard your identity in this OPEN system, to trace research/researchers in your field and to prepare citation reports come evaluation time.
