Abstract
An independent film project, "The Visit," involved non-film-major students who shared a passion for storytelling and filmmaking. We developed a compelling story and assembled a team of actors, cinematographers, editors, and sound designers. With limited resources and a shoestring budget, we had to be resourceful and innovative in our approach to filmmaking. The result is a gripping and suspenseful film that explores complex themes of guilt, redemption, and the consequences of our actions. The film offers a fresh take on the classic home invasion genre, blending elements of horror and suspense to create a unique and unforgettable cinematic experience. Throughout the process, valuable lessons about collaboration, problem-solving, and the power of storytelling were learned. We are proud of our accomplishments and grateful for the opportunity to bring our vision to life.
