Abstract

The exponential growth of data across industries has intensified the demand for more intelligent and intuitive approaches to information visualization. This research explores the transformative potential of integrating artificial intelligence (AI), including generative AI and machine learning–assisted platforms, with Power BI for advanced information visualization. We investigate how AI-driven functionalities, such as natural language querying, predictive analytics, and automated insight generation, enhance the traditional capabilities of Power BI dashboards. By leveraging AI algorithms, the study aims to demonstrate how complex datasets can be more intuitively understood, leading to more informed decision-making. By analyzing the interplay between Power BI’s visualization tools and embedded AI functionalities, this research highlights opportunities for more intelligent, accessible, and meaningful data exploration. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how AI-enhanced visualization tools can support students, educators, and professionals in developing more effective analytical workflows.
