Course syllabus for ALC 720 Substance Abuse Prevention

Course description: Reviews historical developments in substance abuse prevention strategies. Planning, implementation, and evaluation of school-based and community-based prevention programs are discussed. Current prevention strategies are critically analyzed and future prospects for prevention programming are considered.
