Abstract
Course syllabus for ADDS 610UA Psychopharmacology
Course description: This course examines the effects of psychoactive substances on various behaviors. Basic principles of pharmacology, historical patterns of use, and variation in individual responses to psychoactive drugs are reviewed. Attention will also be given on related studies that will assist the student in mastering the content of the pharmacology section of the certification test given by ICRC for alcohol and drug abuse counselors.
