Abstract
Course syllabus for ART 810 Studies in Art: Painting and Printmaking
Course description: This course will offer graduate students the opportunity to do individualized research in painting and printmaking. The development and works of each student will be discussed and analyzed. Students will be expected to develop visual imagery for a one-person exhibition. Students are to explore various drawing techniques to express their thematic and iconographical concerns.
Each student will be expected to prepare a written proposal stating their objectives for a one-person exhibition and develop a consistent body of drawings which can be used as preparatory studies for future works and as complete visual statements in themselves.
