Abstract
Course syllabus for ART 810 Studies in Art: Art History Methods
Course description: Offers graduate students the opportunity to do individualized research in a particular area of art history or art studio.
Art History Methods and concepts will be researched. These approaches include materials and techniques, connoisseurship, scientific studies, formal analysis, structural analysis, archival research, typology, iconography, iconology, biography, psychology, psychoanalysis, phenomonology, semiology, social and cultural history of art, and history of ideas.
