Abstract
Course syllabus for CJUS 510 Topics in Criminal Justice: Victimization
Course description: Analyses of major perspectives on victimization. Emphasis on patterns of victimization, the role of victim in the generation of crime. Examination of the risk and consequences of crime for its victims. Issues considered included victim-offender relationship, characteristics of victims, the nature of the injuries they experience and the experience of the victim in the criminal justice system.
