Abstract

Course syllabus for CJUS 410 Contemporary Issues in Justice Systems

Course description: This course encompasses a review of the structure and methods employed by the American justice system. It examines a number of contemporary and controversial social issues in the context of criminal justice agency operations and processes. In doing so, this course assesses current justice system practices and procedures from the standpoint of ensuring equal and fair treatment under the law for all.
