Abstract
Course syllabus for CJUS 410 Contemporary Issues in Justice Systems
Course description: A review of the structure and methods employed by American justice systems. A number of contemporary and controversial social issues will be examined in the context of the application of these configurations and processes. The purpose will be to evaluate the utility of current justice system practices and procedures from the standpoint of ensuring equal and fair treatment under the law for all.
