Course description: Counseling 845 is an interactive course designed to integrate practical and academic experiences in a professional counseling setting at Governors State University. While enrolled in this course, each student will be under the direct supervision of the course instructor and may be additionally supervised by the faculty of the counseling section of the Division of Psychology and Counseling.
This course is designed to apply theoretical approaches in the practices of individual counseling and therapy with adult clients. Dr. Ellis' section utilizes three key components to ensure that each of these goals are met during the student's practicum experience.
