Abstract
Course syllabus for ECON 420 Managerial Economics: The Economics of the Firm
Course description: The purpose of this course is to acquaint the students, the future managers, with the power of economic thinking. As a social science, economics has grown to be a broad-based paradigm for analyzing choices at many different levels. As applied microeconomics, managerial economics deals with how decisions should be made by managers to achieve the firm's objectives--in particular, how to maximize profit.
