Abstract
Course syllabus for EDEC 415 Child and Family in the Community
Course description: Overview of the cultural differences, child-rearing practices, communication patterns, experiences of families and the life stresses that affect the young child and his views of self and others in his family, school, and community. Explores ways in which the schools can provide services to families and identifies support networks in the community.
