Abstract
Course syllabus for EDUC 440B Educational Psychology in Action
Course description: This course emphasizes the educational implications and applications of contemporary educational psychology and research. Major perspectives on learning are explored as well as the role of social and cultural processes in learning; how to motivate and manage today's students; and the role of assessment in providing evidence of student learning. Fifteen hours of field observation required.
